Eyeliner FAQs.

What is permanent eyeliner?
It's a cosmetic tattoo that places pigment along your lash line to define and enhance the eyes. It can be as subtle or bold as you'd like — think of it as your favorite eyeliner look, but smudge-proof and always on.
How long does it last?
Most clients can expect 2–5 years. It fades gradually depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and skincare, and we recommend a touch-up every 1–2 years to keep it fresh.
Does it hurt?
Discomfort is minimal — we use a strong topical numbing cream throughout. Most clients say it feels more like pressure or a tickle than pain.
How long is the healing process?
Initial healing takes about 7–10 days, with full healing up to 4–6 weeks. Your liner may look darker or slightly uneven at first — totally normal. A perfecting touch-up is scheduled at 6–8 weeks.
Can I wear eye makeup?
Avoid all eye makeup, including mascara and eyeliner, for at least 7–10 days while you heal. After that you're free to glam up again — though you may find you don't need as much.
Who is not a good candidate?
It may not be suitable if you're pregnant, nursing, have certain medical conditions, take blood thinners, or have very sensitive or thin eyelid skin. We'll go over everything at your consultation to make sure it's the right fit.
What should I do before my appointment?
Avoid caffeine, alcohol, lash serums, and blood thinners for 24 hours before. Come with clean skin and no eye makeup. If you wear lash extensions, they'll need to be removed beforehand.
Is there any downtime?
Not really. Avoid heavy sweating, swimming, and eye makeup during healing (about 2 weeks), but most clients go about their day right after. Some minor swelling or redness is common and fades quickly.
