natural hair strokes · by hand

fine, hair-like strokes created by hand to mimic real brow hair. our most natural-looking technique — best for dry to normal skin with little texture and existing hair for the strokes to flow with.

what's the difference between the techniques?
microblading — hair-like strokes made by hand; best for dry/normal skin. powder/ombré — soft, machine-shaded, makeup-like finish; great for all skin types, especially oily or mature. nano — ultra-fine machine strokes; precise and gentle, good for most skin types. combo — strokes through the front blended with shading through the body and tail, for the best of both.
which technique is best for me?
it depends on your skin type, goals, and lifestyle. dry or normal skin wanting a natural hair-stroke look? microblading or nano. oily skin or prefer a filled-in look? powder/ombré. want fullness plus definition? combo. not sure — we'll help you decide at your consultation.
how long do permanent brows last?
it varies by technique and skin. microblading typically fades in 12–18 months, while powder, nano, and combo can last 2–5 years. sun exposure, skin type, and lifestyle all affect longevity, and periodic refreshes keep them looking their best.
what's the healing + aftercare like?
you'll go through a 7–14 day healing phase with some flaking and fading — brows look darker at first, then soften. full results show at 6–8 weeks, when you return for your perfecting touch-up. aftercare basics:
  • wash gently twice a day with antibacterial soap (morning + night), then apply a rice-grain amount of the ointment we provide.
  • once flaking starts, leave them alone — don't pick.
  • avoid direct sun, saunas, pools, and working out for 2 weeks.
  • keep retinols, AHA/BHA, and vitamin C off the brow area.
will my brows look too dark at first?
they'll be darker the first few days — that's completely normal. the color softens and lightens as they heal, and the final result looks much more natural.
do I need a touch-up?
a perfecting touch-up is scheduled 6–8 weeks after your initial session to adjust shape, color, and density — it's where we perfect your brows. if you love them as they are, you can skip it.
can I get brows if I have previous tattooing?
possibly — we'll need to see your current brows first to assess shape, color, and saturation. in some cases color correction or removal is needed first. please book a consultation.
what should I avoid before my appointment?
avoid alcohol, caffeine, blood thinners, retinol, and tanning for at least 24–48 hours beforehand. if you tint or wax your brows, do it at least a week before. we'll send full pre-care instructions after booking.
is this really a tattoo?
yes — even microblading is technically a tattoo, though it's designed to fade over time and be refreshed as your features and preferences change. your artist should be licensed by the health department and work in a licensed facility.
who isn't a candidate?
permanent brows aren't suitable if you're pregnant, nursing, prone to keloids, undergoing chemotherapy, or have certain medical conditions. we'll review your health history at your consultation to make sure it's safe for you.
