Why I Founded Weekday Ritual: My Passion for Skincare, Wellness & Helping You Feel Confident Every Day
Hey there! I’m Paige, the founder of Weekday Ritual, a beauty and wellness studio right here in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I wanted to take a minute to share a little bit about why I started this business, what drives me, and why I care so deeply about helping you look and feel your absolute best.
Because at the end of the day? This is about way more than just brows or facials. It’s about building confidence, one weekday ritual at a time.
Falling in Love with Skincare & Confidence (The Backstory)
My journey into this industry wasn’t born from chasing trends... it was born from real-life struggles with my own skin, body image, and learning how powerful it is to take time for yourself. I know firsthand how it feels to be self-conscious, to pick apart your reflection in the mirror, and to wonder if everyone else notices your “flaws” too.
But over the years, something clicked: investing in quality skincare, feeling good in your own skin, and taking a little time out of your busy life isn’t vanity — it’s self-respect. It’s a way to show yourself love, so you can walk out the door a little taller, a little glowier, and a whole lot more sure of yourself.
That’s why I fell head over heels for this industry. Not because of beauty for beauty’s sake but because of the confidence it unlocks.
Why “Weekday Ritual”?
When I dreamed up this studio, I wanted it to be more than a typical spa. The name Weekday Ritual came from the idea that self-care shouldn’t be reserved for special occasions. It shouldn’t have to wait for weddings, vacations, or some milestone event.
It deserves a place in your regular routine. In your Tuesdays at 3pm. In your quick lunch break glow-up.
Because life is busy. You’re juggling work, kids, errands, and a million responsibilities. My mission is to carve out a peaceful space in your week to prioritize YOU, whether that’s perfecting your brows, nourishing your skin with a customized facial, or even getting a little help from permanent makeup so you wake up ready.
My Love for Education & Empowering Others
One of my biggest passions (besides serving clients) is teaching. Over the years, I’ve expanded Weekday Ritual to offer advanced education in permanent makeup, skin health, paramedical tattooing, and more.
Why? Because I believe in lifting up the entire industry. I want other artists and estheticians to feel confident in their skills, deliver incredible results, and build businesses that change their lives, just like this work changed mine.
Whether it’s guiding clients on how to care for their skin, or mentoring other professionals, education is truly at the heart of everything we do here.
Why Kentucky Means So Much to Me
I chose to build Weekday Ritual right here in Bowling Green, KY because this is home. This is where my family is. This is where I get to see familiar faces every day... at the coffee shop, at school drop-offs, at the local farmer’s market.
It matters deeply to me to create a welcoming place for our local community. A place where you’re not just another appointment on the books. You are part of our Weekday Ritual family.
